A grey day in La Jolla

It seems everytime I have friends surfing the weather get's grey and gross. But I did catch the tail end of a dolphin--the first time one jumped right into my shot but my reflexes were too slow. I'd grab a board just so I could sit in the water with dolphins. :)

    these are so awesome Ally! you're just a natural with composition. i especially like the close-up one of the group of seagulls(?) standing on one leg :)

    Thanks! I love black and white, even though I was forced this day b/c it was so yucky out..

    They aren't seagulls...they are those tiny birds that run really fast by the water..I know you've seen them in SF..

    oh yeah! probably sandpipers :D they're so cute hehe. and good piont, i never thought of that; black and white makes cruddy days look awesome hehe
