Wrap up

Well kids--I think I'm very close to wrapping this sucker up. I think the ending looks much better now; kindof a combination of all ideas that I think works. So tell me what'cha think!

Oh and I don't know what's up with youtube but the sound is still not working on my demo. For right now I suppose it can wait a little bit and hopefully youtube will fix itself. O.o

  1. Honestly, for the sake of making this piece the best one you have done, I think it's about 80% complete. There is still a very linear line between when he walks and from the first pick-up to the first drop. The neck and head are also very stiff through most of it and definitely need to be more fluid. And then end still feels pretty stiff. I don't envy you there, it's a really tough part to get. I think all that's left to do is work on the fluidity of the piece.

Oh yeah, and ghosting, basically, just click on a curve, or whatever you want to see ghosted, and go to the "animate" menu and there will be a series of submenus for ghosting. click "ghost selected" (i think that's what it's called at least... maya's not open right now) anyways, then to take off the feature, do the same thing, click the curve and then go to the animate menu and click "unghost selected" instead.

  3. hehehe I know, but I'm only annoying to help! i have this problem too; i'll show linda or someone my animation, and they'll point out all the things that need to be worked on still that i thought were finished, but they turn out better in the end :)

  4. I think this animation looks awesome. Obviously Tanith knows what she's talking about because she is an animator, but I can see what she's saying concerning the fluidity. Especially the ending seems a little sudden to me still. But like Tanith said you're close! It's just a matter of tweaking at this point!
